When that happens, the house is offered to the first approved applicant, based on the order in which the applications were received. Application fees are non-refundable. However, our leasing specialists are ready to help if the home you applied for becomes unavailable. Your application remains valid for up to 30 days and can be used towards another home of your choice.

    Before you proceed with your application, we encourage you to take a moment to familiarize yourself with our qualification criteria and any applicable fees and gather all the necessary information to ensure a quick and easy application process. We partner with Findigs, a third-party screening provider, which will verify household income and review the resident's score to determine eligibility to rent with us. Once your household application has been approved, it will be sent to the leasing team at Maymont Homes for review. Rest assured, our leasing team is here to assist you throughout the process and answer any questions.
    A rental application must be completed for each person 18 years of age or older (Alabama applicants must be 19 years of age or older) who will be living in the house. Any false information provided by an applicant in a rental application will constitute grounds for the rejection and nullification of that rental application, resulting in the forfeiture of any deposit and/or reservation fee. All rental applications are evaluated strictly in accordance with the information found on this page and with Maymont Homes' standard rental criteria.
